Payhip for PLR Sellers: Plans, Fees and Features (November 2026)

PLR ExpertReviews

Payhip lets you sell digital downloads, courses and memberships from a hosted store, and it is a common choice for people who sell PLR-based products. We have not tested it ourselves, so this overview relies on Payhip’s own pricing and features pages, checked as of November 2026.

Plans and fees

  • Free Forever: $0 per month, plus a 5% transaction fee.
  • Plus: $29 per month, plus a 2% transaction fee.
  • Pro: $99 per month, with no Payhip transaction fee.

Payhip’s pricing page says every plan has all features, with unlimited products and unlimited revenue. PayPal and Stripe still charge their standard processing rates on top, whichever plan you choose.

When does a paid plan pay off?

This is our own arithmetic from the listed prices, not a Payhip claim. Plus saves 3 percentage points over Free, so it breaks even at about $967 in monthly sales ($29 ÷ 0.03). Pro saves 5 points over Free, breaking even near $1,980 a month ($99 ÷ 0.05), and 2 points over Plus, breaking even near $3,500 a month ($70 ÷ 0.02). Below those levels, the cheaper plan costs less.

What you get

Payhip lists digital products with variants, bundles, pay-what-you-want pricing, payment plans, order bumps, gifting, abandoned cart emails and license keys. It also has a store builder with custom domains, plus tools such as PDF stamping, download limits and expiring links. Download links expire after two hours, and file types such as EXE and DMG are not supported unless zipped. Payhip says it automatically collects, reports and remits EU and UK VAT and US and Canadian sales tax.

Pros, cons and who it suits

  • Pros: no monthly fee to start, all features on every plan, built-in tax handling, and useful protection tools for files.
  • Cons: the 5% fee on the Free plan adds up as sales grow, and Payhip’s pages do not give a payout schedule, so check that before you rely on it for cash flow.
  • Suits: sellers who want one hosted store for downloads, bundles and simple funnels. Always read your PLR license and Payhip’s terms before listing, since many licenses limit resale of the original files.
